This year in honor of Peace Day and with four other churches, our church sponsored a Kingian Nonviolence Training Workshop.  The co-sponsoring churches are Grace Lutheran Church, St. Benjamin's Lutheran Church, St. Paul's United Church of Christ, the Westminster Church of the Brethren, and Westminster United Methodist Church.  

The training took place on Saturday, September 17, from 9:30 to 4:30, at the Westminster Library's Exploration Commons.  This event was open to the public.  

In a time of great conflict, this training provides a philosophy and strategies for resolving conflict peacefully in various settings.
